Trust is not claimed, it is evidenced. For a foundation working with returning citizens and families in crisis, that means being specific about who governs the work, who can be reached, and what someone gets when they walk through the door.

How We Hold Ourselves Accountable

The people we serve are often those with the least reason to trust an institution. That is the reason the Foundation publishes its structure rather than describing it in general terms.

Registered status. The Foundation operates as a 508(c)(1)(a) organization. Its status and structure are set out in full on the Foundation & Governance page rather than summarised here.
Named trustees. Governance sits with named people — Sir William Benson, Shellene Riech and Brandy Oneal — not an unattributed board.
A real address and a monitored inbox. Offices in New York and Rhode Island, and info@bensonjewishfoundation.org, which reaches the Foundation directly.
Programs described by what they provide. Each pathway sets out what a participant actually receives, so it can be measured against what they got.

Community Events

There are no events on the calendar at the moment. When there are, they will be listed here with the date, the location, and how to register — never as a standing invitation with nothing behind it.

The most reliable way to hear about the next one is to tell us you want to be there. Anyone who submits the volunteer form is contacted directly when something is scheduled.
